Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce Dupe

My favorite part about Olive Garden, besides the garlic bread, is HANDS DOWN the Alfredo Sauce. I really thought to myself... how hard can it be to make this sauce at home? I don't know about you, but I'm ballin' on a budget and don't have the funds to be going to Olive Garden on the regular to get this liquid gold. So how did I do it you ask? Well let me tell you... this is one of the EASIEST recipes I will have on this blog and it is DELICIOUS... but, when I say it is delicious I am definitely not saying this is healthy what so ever... but, all good things can't be healthy right?? Just keep saying that to yourself when you see the ingredients because I had to keep telling myself that and know I can't make this too often or my weight loss will turn back into my instant weight gain.
Hope you all enjoy, if you have any suggestions... please leave a comment below I would love to hear your feedback and/or if you have any other recipes you want me to try!!

INGREDIENTS:
PREP TIME/COOK TIME: 15 TO 20 MINUTES
- 2 CUPS HEAVY CREAM
- 1/2 CUP LIGHT SALTED BUTTER
- 2 TBS CREAM CHEESE
- 1 TO 1 1/2 CUPS SHREDDED PARMESAN CHEESE
- 1 TSP BLACK PEPPER
- 1 TSP GARLIC POWDER
** THE TRICK IS DO NOT ADD SALT, THE BUTTER WILL DO THE WORK FOR YOU**
--------------------------------------------------
1. Turn the stove on LOW heat to get the pan to cooking temperature and pour in the heavy cream. DO NOT put the pan on HIGH heat otherwise it will cause the cream to burn and not have the taste you desire.
2. Pour in the butter and cream cheese on LOW heat and mix until there is little to no clumps.
3. Toss the garlic powder and the pepper in and mix well. As you can see from the previous picture there are little to no clumps from the cream cheese and butter.
4. When the heavy cream, butter, cream cheese, garlic powder and pepper are mixed and the mixture starts to bubble, then pour in the parmesan cheese and stir. When you stir you will feel the cheese clumping up and the sauce getting thicker... that is ok and that is what we want; just keep mixing!
5. Now all ingredients should be mixed and it should come to a light bubble. When you feel the mixture is as mixed as it can get take a clean spoon and dip in the sauce. The spoon will fully be coated with the sauce without sliding off when it is done.
THERE YOU GO!! Your Olive Garden Alfredo Dupe!! Now put with some spaghetti noodles and some grilled chicken and you have yourself a yummy plate of Grilled Chicken Alfredo.
Again, I hope all of you enjoy and again if you have any feed back I would love to hear it or if you have any other recipes you would recommend me trying please don't hesitate to leave comment below!!
